Today, we’re going to talk about the new features that GLPI introduced in 2023. GLPI, an open-source IT Service Management software, has always been at the forefront of innovation, and 2023 was no exception.
GLPI E-Report 2023
GLPI released their E-Report for 2023. This report is a recap of the year, highlighting global partnerships, new users, downloads, cloud instances, and new plugins. It also celebrated GLPI’s 20th anniversary.
We are very happy, that E-Report also highlight our GLPI implementation project for City of Košice.
New Plugins
Unread Messages
A new plugin called “Unread Messages” was introduced. This plugin helps users keep track of unread messages. It’s available to all GLPI Network Cloud customers and via professional offers starting on the Basic GLPI Network Subscription.
PowerDNS
Another new plugin introduced was PowerDNS. This plugin allows users to import and manage domains/records from and to PowerDNS using the GLPI interface.
Translate
To enhance multilingual support in GLPI, the ‘Translate’ Plugin was introduced. This plugin is particularly useful for companies or branch offices worldwide that need to comply with everyone to keep on just one language.
GLPI Agent 1.7 and 1.7.1
GLPI released GLPI Agent 1.7 and 1.7.1. The 1.7.1 version specifically fixes SSL connections problems introduced with the 1.7 version update for windows.
GLPI Inventory
GLPI 10 added three new tools for companies willing to manage and keep track of security and investments on IT assets like computers, servers, monitors, printers, and software programs.
GLPI 10.0.11
A new GLPI version, 10.0.11, was released. This release fixes a few security issues that have been recently discovered.
