ITIL 5 Foundation is not just about learning processes—it is about understanding how to create value that matters in today’s digital era.

  • The PeopleCert exam for obtaining the internationally valid ITIL® Foundation certificate is included in the price of the course and takes place online at the date booked with PeopleCert.
  • There are 40 questions, each worth 1 mark. There is no negative marking. Candidates will need to get 26 questions correct (65%) to pass the exam.
  • The exam is in online written form and consists of choosing the correct answers from the above options.
  • The length of the exam is 60 minutes. Candidates taking the exam in a language that is not their native or working language may be awarded 25% extra time, that is 75 minutes in total.
  • This is a closed book exam. No extra materials or electronic devices are allowed.

The ITIL® Foundation certificate is valid for 3 years.
