Preparation for online course

You will receive a link to MS Teams platform before the beginning of the course

We recommend (a few days) before the course to test the connectivity of your PC / laptop, test the sound and video settings and familiarize yourself with the MS Teams environment. Some company devices, as well as the company network connection, may have certain restrictions set. In case of difficulties, please contact your technical support.

Required technical equipment for OMNICOM Online courses

  • Stable internet connection
  • PC / laptop (we recommend a larger display; mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets are not suitable)
  • Microphone, headphones (we recommend wireless headphones – with a charged battery)
  • Camera – is highly recommended and will be used during communication

Recommendations for the environment

  • Comfortable seating (so that you can manage the course for several hours)
  • Space on the table for printed materials, notes and other literature
  • Environment without distractions and ambient noises
  • Suitable lighting
  • Available refreshments

Tips and tricks

  • The online format can be challenging for some participants. Suitable seating, refreshments, or space for small movements help make the entire course more enjoyable
  • If there are distracting sounds around you, turn your microphone down – mute
  • Ask questions. Communicate with the instructor and/or other participants
  • Keep your camera on
  • Follow the communication rules:
    • Only one person speaks at a time
    • Respect others
    • Do not interrupt others

  • Close and reopen the app
  • Check your audio device settings
  • Logout and login again
