MCP Server for GLPI
GLPI and artificial intelligence come together. OMNICOM introduces a new MCP Server for GLPI, enabling you to connect your GLPI instance with AI assistants such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot.
Thanks to Model Context Protocol (MCP), an AI assistant can communicate directly with GLPI and help users with their everyday tasks. Instead of searching for information across different parts of the system, users can simply describe what they need in natural language.
What can you do with MCP Server?
- Work with tickets – search, review and update tickets, including their history, tasks and solutions.
- Search the knowledge base – ask a question and get relevant information without lengthy searching.
- Work with the service catalog – submit service requests conversationally.
- Manage users and groups – particularly useful for technicians and administrators.
- Create and track projects, tasks, team members and costs – all without leaving the conversation.
AI that respects your GLPI permissions
The AI assistant does not automatically have greater access than the user themselves.
The MCP Server is open source and provided through a subscription that includes access to the latest version, all updates, and full support through the OMNICOM GLPI Support Portal.
It is available now for GLPI 11 on your own infrastructure (on-premise).
