OMNICOM, a long-standing leader in ITSM education in Slovakia, is adding a new accredited course to its portfolio – ITIL Managing Professional Transition (Version 5). The course is designed for IT professionals who already hold an ITIL 4 or ITIL v3 certification and want to transition efficiently to the latest version of this globally recognized framework.
ITIL (Version 5) represents a modern and comprehensive update of the framework for managing digital products and services. Compared to previous versions, it introduces deeper integration of artificial intelligence into operational models. It also brings a new perspective on the lifecycle of products and services, as well as a more holistic approach to customer experience and organizational transformation.
According to PeopleCert, the certification provider, ITIL (Version 5) offers guidance that works across the entire organization – from governance and strategy to day-to-day operations – helping teams collaborate more effectively and consistently create value.
For professionals who have already invested time and effort into ITIL, there is an important message: this is not a reset of existing knowledge. The MPT course focuses exclusively on what is new.
The course is primarily intended for holders of the following certifications: ITIL 4 Managing Professional, ITIL 4 Master, ITIL v3 Expert, or ITIL v3 Master.
It is particularly suitable for professionals working in roles such as Product Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Digital Transformation Manager, IT Operations Manager, Solutions Architect, and other positions related to the management of digital products and services.
The five-day course focuses only on changes and new concepts in the areas of Product, Service, Experience, and Transformation, rather than repeating the fundamentals. Experienced professionals gain a comprehensive understanding of ITIL 5 without unnecessary time loss.
Two PeopleCert certification exams are included in the course fee (€2,490 excl. VAT). The exams are “open book” format – the first covers Product, Service, and Experience, while the second focuses on Transformation. This format supports real understanding and practical application of knowledge rather than memorization.
The OMNICOM team is part of the PeopleCert ITIL Development Group and has contributed to the development of selected ITIL practices. Participants therefore gain not only theoretical knowledge but also real-world experience from implementation projects.
The course includes a student handbook, official ITIL Product, Service, Experience, and Transformation eBooks (Version 5), two sample exams with answer explanations, and original OMNICOM Mind Maps.
The MPT course enables participants to upgrade their ITIL v3 Expert, ITIL v3 Master, ITIL 4 Managing Professional, or ITIL 4 Master certifications quickly and cost-effectively to the new ITIL version. The ITIL MPT certification is valid for three years.
The first course session is scheduled for September 28 – October 2, 2026, in Bratislava, delivered in person. Groups are limited to 6–12 participants to ensure an individual approach from the trainer.
For corporate groups, in-house training directly at the workplace can also be arranged. More information and registration are available on the course page. For questions, contact OMNICOM at sales@omnicom.digital.
